3 ways to apply:
1. With the car clean and dry, spray it on the surface and wipe it off with a microfiber towel (use this method for best performance)
2. As a rinse aid: With the car clean and wet, spray the product on the surface and then rinse
3. As a drying aid: With the car clean and wet, spray the product on the surface and dry with a microfiber towel
TIPS OF THE TRADE:
For extreme durability (up to 12 months), apply a second coat 12-24 hours after first application. Additionally, allow 12-24 hours before exposing to water/weather or other surface care products in order to achieve maximum durability.
Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is formulated with advanced polymers and SiO2-infused chemistry that forms a chemical bond with your paint to impart a stout layer of protection. This product is designed to be used in place of conventional waxes or sealants as your primary protection product or as a supplement to a professionally installed high-solids ceramic coating. Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax guards against surface oxidation, harmful UV rays, stains, etching from acid rain, and other environmental/chemical sources. It also makes maintaining your paint much easier via the formula's self-cleaning properties that reduce dust and dirt adhesion. Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is the best performing, easiest-to-use sprayable ceramic on the market... Simply put, if you're looking for the best spray-and-wipe protection look no further than Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax.
What the heck is "Ceramic" anyways?
The term "ceramic" and its use in the automotive surface care realm has emerged over the past decade or so. It is not a marketing term, ceramics are rooted in solid, advanced chemistry. The active ingredient SiO2 (or silicon dioxide) which is a derivative of silica delivered in liquid form in most automobile-related applications. There are many approaches to the carrier chemistry which apply this technology. Professional ceramics often rely on solvent- and resin-based formulas which can be temperamental and hazardous to apply. Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 formula features a proprietary water-based blend of special ultra-hydrophobic polymers, nanoparticles of SiO2, and carnauba wax. Ceramics are touted for their extreme durability, hydrophobic or water beading effect, UV protection, and their ability to produce a high-gloss finish. They also have "self-cleaning" properties, which is defined by the resistance to soil, grime, oil, alkaline, and acids. So, a ceramic-treated surface sheds these contaminants, or self-cleans, when exposed to rain... keeping your vehicle cleaner longer.
